We’re excited to have been accepted as a full member of BESA, the British Educational Suppliers Association.

News

BESA has an 85-year heritage serving the UK education sector, and represents over 300 educational suppliers in the UK, including manufacturers and distributors of equipment, materials, books, consumables, furniture, technology, ICT hardware and EdTech to the education market.

BESA has a Code of Practice to which all members must adhere, along with a stringent membership process, both of which assure schools of a high standard of quality in both product and customer service. Schools can be confident that BESA members can be trusted.

The BESA Code of Practice is particularly appealing to us here at Merrick-Ed Limited given how aligned it is with our own values:

Authenticity: We are honest and upfront in our interactions. We always strive to understand our clients’ unique needs and priorities and tailor our solutions accordingly.

Transparency: We commit to communicating openly and honestly. We provide clear and concise rationales, and are transparent about our processes and methodologies.

Trust: We value trust as the foundation of all our relationships. We always act with integrity and safeguard our clients’ confidentiality.

Rigorous: We are committed to delivering high-quality, reliable solutions. We use evidence-informed methodologies and intelligent insights to inform our recommendations and decisions.

Curiosity: We are always seeking new knowledge and innovative solutions. We will approach challenges with a curious mindset, exploring new possibilities and opportunities that are right for our clients.

Although BESA membership doesn’t materially change what we do or how we operate, it’s a good indication of how, as a company, we seek to earn the trust of schools and partners by providing services and solutions that support education leaders to make Informed Decisions which have Lasting Impact.
